中文大學法律學院院長麥高偉與研究團隊埋首 16年，完成全球首本中國刑事審訊研究著作。該書透過司法人員爆料，揭露內地司法黑幕：法官判案必須遵循上級指示，檢控官令被告入罪才能穩袋花紅，法庭對疑犯遭嚴刑逼供視若無睹。麥高偉以「中國沒有司法公義」作總結，但仍然希望與內地當局「保持對話」，推動內地法律改革。
