How God Favors Evil

Consider the debate on the existence of Superman as a competition between two hypotheses: the "Superman" hypothesis and the "no Superman" hypothesis. The "Superman" hypothesis says that there is a man who is compassionate and powerful enough to stop most, if not all, evils. The "no Superman" hyposthesis says that such a man does not exist. Now take this fact: evils are uninterfered. A compassionate and adequately powerful Superman, if existent, would have interfered evils. A Superman standing there watching evils happening yet doing nothing or unable to do anything is no Superman, or equivalent to non-existence of Superman. ("Freewill" is only a failed excuse; Superman surely will stop a murder rather than "protect the freewill" of the murderer.) In other words, the "no Superman" hypothesis has higher explanatory power than the "Superman" hypothesis. The "no Superman" hypothesis wins and it is fair to conclude that Superman does not exist. The same goes for God.
