When you observe the mood of the Flower Communion service, please remember that it is taking place in Prague, the Czech Republic, which is one of the Post Communist countries in Central Europe. The scale of numbers and professional standards is relevant to the local standards; the attendance at the service (over 130 people, while the average is 30-50) is illustrating the importance of the event for the Czech people. Considering all this, we are very much grateful to all of you who contributed to our celebration both as our special guests or via virtual flowers. Perhaps it may not be easy for you to understand the culture the Czech Unitarians are living in now, but please be sure about one thing: we are really grateful for you to join us in our Flower Communion this year! It means a lot for us to feel as part of our liberal faith community.
