About Test of FAITH

One of the primary aims of the Test of FAITH project is to help meet the enormous need in churches and parachurch groups for accessible materials on science and Christianity.

The Test of FAITH documentary introduces the viewer to practising scientists who have a sincere Christian faith, even at the highest levels of academia. All of us can share their experience of awe when they find out more about God's creation through science.  ...

Alex's comment:  Firstly, Test of FAITH has got a wrong name.  There are so many faiths, Buddhist and Taoist faiths just to name two, why only mention Christian faith?  Why not call the project "test of Christian faith"?  Secondly, and more importantly, Religious Naturalism has rendered the whole Test of FAITH project redundant.  Christianity is an ancient religion based on myths and, therefore, conflict with modern science is inevitable.  Religious Naturalism is a religious perspective more relevant for this age of science because it is based on science itself.  All of us can share their experience of awe when Religious Naturalists adore the wonders of Nature as discovered by science.

Re: Test of FAITH

Dishonesty (the website)

"There is no problem, with a million-quid lure to hook a few eminent scientists, to say that they personally see no conflict between science and religion, but they are suffering from a form of intellectual schizophrenia," --Sir Harry Kroto, a British scientist who won the Nobel prize for chemistry in 1996 and works at Florida State University

I like the term "intellectual schizophrenia"(知性上之精神分裂).
